Dinghy Sailing Holidays

We can’t think of many better things to do on a sunny day in Greece than dinghy sailing in warm waters with thermal winds to push you along! Our sailing holidays are suitable for everyone and sailing tuition is included in the cost of your holiday.

Inclusive tuition

Dinghy Sailing tuition is included in the cost of your holiday. We include a starter lesson for beginner sailors and guests who would like a little ‘brushing up’ so that you are free to use our dinghies all week.

If you can already sail

If you’ve done a little sailing before, there’s no need to join a lesson (unless you want to), simply choose a dinghy, let the beach team know and head out into our sailing area. Our water sports centre is open each day with safety boat cover from 9.30am until the last guest comes off the water and it’ll remain open over lunch, so you can sail non-stop if you want to!

Dinghy sailing courses

You can book onto a sailing course as a beginner or intermediate. You will have two full days of dedicated tuition by our own RYA instructors. With ratios of 6 to 1 instructor and calm, predictable conditions – the focus is on fun, where the learning curve is especially fast.

  • Dinghy Sailing Level 1— A 2-day practical course focused on small boat handling & sailing in all directions in light conditions 2 days, 16 hours
  • Dinghy Sailing Level 2 — designed to make you a confident, independent sailor in light winds 2 days, 16 hours

Sail Away Dinghy Cruises

Set sail on a longer-distance dinghy adventure as we cruise together to a nearby island or secluded beach, in our single handed and double handed boats, accompanied by our instructors and safety boats. You will pick up useful skills in cruise planning, safety, basic navigation and longer-distance sailing – while enjoying a memorable half-day exploring the bay. Sail Away excursions run subject to suitable conditions and minimum numbers.

Expert RYA Instructors

Our Beach Team is made up of experienced RYA instructors who combine trusted RYA teaching methods with our own Ocean Elements Fast Forward coaching approach. It’s designed to help you learn more quickly in the calm, relaxed and pressure-free atmosphere of our Beach Club.

Just as importantly, our instructors are patient, encouraging, friendly and great fun to be around — after all, that’s exactly why we employ them.
