Wingfoiling & Wingsurfing

At Nautica Bay, you can learn Wingsurfing—riding a board with a lightweight handheld wing that powers you across the water. It’s fun, easy to learn, and the perfect first step towards Wingfoiling. If you’re already a confident Wingfoiler, you can use our centre equipment free of charge.

Wingsurfing

Wingsurfing is an exciting and accessible watersport that’s easy to pick up and surprisingly addictive. We offer two-day beginner courses in small groups of up to four people, giving you plenty of time on the water with expert coaching.
Once you’ve completed the course, you’re free to use our equipment and continue practising at your own pace. Porto Heli’s sheltered bay provides ideal conditions for learning and building confidence.

Wingfoiling

Wingfoiling uses the same handheld wing, but with an underwater hydrofoil that lifts the board above the water, creating an incredibly smooth, silent flying sensation. We don’t offer first-flight Wingfoil tuition, but our two-day Wingsurf course gives beginners the perfect foundation before progressing to hydrofoil training elsewhere. Already a confident Wingfoiler with sustained flight? You’re welcome to use our centre equipment, including a selection of boards and foils, at no extra cost.

Wingsurfing & Wingfoiling Courses

You can book onto a Windsurfing course as a beginner or intermediate. You will have two full days of dedicated tuition by our own RYA instructors. With ratios of 6 to 1 instructor and calm, predictable conditions – the focus is on fun, where the learning curve is fast with plenty of time on the water helping you master the wing quickly and safely.

Ratios: 4:1 instructor

  • Learn to Wingsurf: Covers shore wing handling, balance, steering and getting underway on a stable board. 2 days, 16 hours
  • Improve Your Wingsurfing: Focuses on holding upwind ground, stance refinement, and better tacking or gybing transitions. 2 days, 16 hours
