Chic, cosmopolitan and wonderfully relaxed, Porto Heli is one of those places that seems made for an Ocean Elements holiday. Set around a beautiful natural harbour on the Greek Riviera, it combines warm, clear water and a sheltered bay with sandy beaches, great local hospitality, coastal scenery and plenty to explore away from the water.
Our Nautica Bay Beach Club puts you right in the middle of it all, with the hotel gardens leading directly onto our private beach and watersports centre.
Porto Heli’s sheltered bay is a fantastic playground for sailors, windsurfers and paddlers of all abilities. Gentle morning conditions and a warm, waist-deep teaching area make it particularly welcoming for beginners and younger sailors, while there’s plenty of scope for more experienced guests to head further out and enjoy the bay.
Our beach centre offers dinghy sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, wingsurfing and wingfoiling, with equipment and starter tuition included. Whether you’re learning from scratch, brushing up old skills or simply want to get afloat and have some fun, our Beach Team is close at hand to help.
Warm water, a protected teaching area and manageable conditions make Porto Heli a great place to learn. Beginners can build confidence without feeling overwhelmed, while experienced sailors and windsurfers can enjoy longer sessions exploring the bay.
There are also opportunities to develop your skills through additional tuition and RYA courses during your stay.
There’s just as much to enjoy on dry land. Porto Heli and the surrounding coastline offer some superb walking and cycling, with coastal roads, quiet tracks, beaches and viewpoints waiting to be discovered.
Grab one of our bikes and head out for an adventure, or simply wander into town and enjoy Porto Heli’s cafés, waterfront and laid-back harbour atmosphere. The region combines beautiful scenery with plenty of local culture and ancient history, so there’s always a reason to explore a little further.
One of the great pleasures of staying in Porto Heli is how easy it is to explore the surrounding islands and coastline.
Nearby Spetses is a firm Ocean Elements favourite, particularly for our evening boat trip across the water for dinner, which we run every Wednesday. Day trips and island adventures add another dimension to your holiday and are a great way to experience more of this beautiful corner of Greece – on two wheels or two feet!
In Porto Heli, there is as much to do off the water as there is on it! Heli’ also has lots of sights, tours and excursions and great biking and walking along its idyllic coastline. You’ll love exploring this beautiful region with its cultural sites, secret coves and beautiful beaches on two wheels or two feet!.
Heli’ is perfectly positioned to explore classical Greece including Mycenae, Epidavros, the Amphitheatre and Nafplion with its 13th century citadel. Try island hopping (the boat leaves right outside the hotel) to visit Spetses and Hydra.
Back at the club, you can make use of the tennis courts and crazy golf or just relax in its extensive gardens and hit a sunlounger…hard!
Porto Heli really comes into its own as a family destination. The sheltered bay, warm shallow water and gentle morning conditions give children the confidence to try sailing, windsurfing and paddle sports, while parents can join in, head off on their own adventure or enjoy some well-earned downtime.
With watersports, bikes, beaches, pools, tennis, island trips, walking, culture and plenty of time to relax, Porto Heli gives every member of the family the freedom to enjoy their holiday their way.
Creating award winning holidays for fun-loving guests for over 25 years.
