All of our Beach Clubs offer the most idyllic and calm conditions for kayaking. Explore the bay and discover hidden coves or visit the harbour for coffee and ice cream. Kayak adventures are lots of fun for all ages, and all our kayaks are available for you to use all day and every day at our beach clubs.

Intro to Paddlesports session

If you’re new to kayaking, then fear not, our expert beach team are on hand to take you through your first steps on a kayak. Our complimentary 'Intro to Paddlesports' session is not just for the beginners! It lasts for about 30 mins and will get you paddling in no time, teaching you some really useful paddle and safety techniques.

During the session, you’ll be introduced to the different kayaks available, advised on how to wear a buoyancy aid (if required), and how to carry equipment to the water's edge.

Getting afloat, your instructor will walk you through some basic safety techniques before moving onto stable paddling positions, steering, paddle technique and strokes. Soon, you’ll be ready to paddle in your own time and head further afield to explore the coast!

Paddle Cruises & Safaris

Head down to the water sports centre, sign up, grab a kayak and a buoyancy aid and and head out on our organised paddle cruises, they’re lots of fun! With a support boat on hand, our sociable flotilla of kayaks will head across the bay to visit a secret beach for a swim and a snorkel or to the local town for coffee and ice cream.

If you’re not a confident paddler, then don’t worry, our kayaks are easy to paddle, very stable and our support boat will be there to encourage you along and provide tips along the way. Or why not join our (free) ‘Intro to Paddlesports’ session to build your confidence beforehand?

Where’s best for kayaking?

All of our Beach Clubs offer great kayaking and free-use of our range of solo and double-handed kayaks. We also run our popular paddle cruises, safaris and Intro to Paddlesports lessons in all resorts.

For the best variety and the most interesting coastline to explore, Hotel Surf in Vassiliki, Hotel Leda in Horto-Pelion and Nautica bay in Porto Heli have lots of interesting coves and beaches to visit, with a few harbourside cafes for refreshment, too!

A great selection of kayaks

The kayaks that we stock at all centres are chosen for their versatility, stability and easy-use appeal. They are sit-on-top, flat bottom kayaks which are much easier to paddle than conventional canoes and enable beginner paddlers and children to get up and get going quite quickly, especially if you join our free ‘Intro to Paddle’ session!

Why not bring along your fishing gear and fish as you paddle along? We love using them for early morning workouts and paddling to a secluded bay or a beach - armed only with a snorkel and a good book!
