Bavaria 37 Tuition Yacht

Our Bavaria 37 Cruiser is a fully coded tuition yacht based in the south Ionian with an Ocean Elements RYA Yachtmaster Instructor. She’s available for liveaboard guests to book privately (for groups of 2-5) or you can book a cabin as a solo (or a couple) and learn in the sun as you cruise around the Ionian.

We can teach RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper and RYA Start Yachting courses (age 10+) all together - and on the same yacht - so different abilities can learn together. Having a mix of courses works really well. If you have two weeks to spare then why not try our popular RYA Day Skipper Fast Track course which combines Competent Crew (week 1) with Day Skipper in week 2.

Learn to sail in the sun

Learning in the sun whilst cruising around the beautiful Greek Islands is probably the most enjoyable way of learning to sail, or gaining your skippers license.

We have courses for beginner skippers, crew members and experienced skippers. And courses for youth sailors (age 10+) so families can learn together.

Private tuition yacht bookings

You can hire our tuition yacht privately for 2 to 5 people and learn to sail in the sun with your own private instructor as you cruise around the Ionians. You can take Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Start Sailing (or Youth Sailing) courses all together - and during the same week - for groups with differing abilities wanting to learn together

Our yacht has 3 double cabins and, by special arrangement, your instructor can sleep aboard our lead yacht to give groups a little more privacy when at anchor.

MORE ABOUT OUR COURSES

Following our flotilla

Your tuition yacht can follow the route of our Ocean Elements’ Flotilla, which is popular for joining our evening socials. During the day you will be cruising and learning the syllabus independently of the flotilla - but for most evenings, you can step ashore to join us for a group meal and maybe a cheeky excursion (like our popular paddleboard cruise) to break up the sailing. You can also arrange for your skipper to sleep aboard our lead boat whilst at anchor, if you’d like some extra privacy, or you need to use his cabin. This can be done by special arrangement at the time of booking.

Stay & Sail

This yacht is available for a two week Stay Sail in Vassiliki. Combine a relaxing week at either of our Vassiliki Beach Clubs with all-inclusive water sports, activities and excursions before you head off for a cruise around the Ionian islands on our flotilla or for bareboating

It’s the perfect ‘twin centre’ holiday. You can combine the best of both worlds’ with relaxation and watersports at our Beach Clubs before heading out to explore the Ionians and enjoying the freedom of a yachting holiday.

Why not combine one of our yacht training courses with a flotilla holiday so you can get qualified in week one to skipper your yacht in week two.

Book a Skipper

Take the pressure off with a skippered sailing holiday. Whether you're a newbie to sailing or you'd like an expert on board to lend a hand and give you a proper chance to relax.

Skippers are charged from £120 per day, which is £840 per week. That's only £140 per person for a group of six!
