Sea Tigers
Sea Tigers is our free-and-inclusive Kids Club for 8-13 year olds. It’s an active club, designed to make the most out of our water-based surroundings and give your children more time doing fun water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing tasters and windsurfing joy rides with our professional RYA instructors.
We include plenty of arts and crafts and age-related chill-out games, so they enjoy some easy-time too. They’ll be in their element enjoying new experiences and making new friends in the club - giving you a well-deserved breather - just don’t blame us when they say they’d rather be in the club than with mum and dad!

A typical day
Your kids will normally join the Tigers club at 09:30. There’s always a full programme of activities up until lunchtime, to include biking, kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing or windsurfing; so make sure they come with sun cream already applied and a day bag with a hat, their swimmers and their Ocean Elements rash vest.
They’ll get plenty of rest-breaks to load up on snacks and drinks and if it gets too hot then we’ll retreat to an air-conditioned play area for more chilled activities. Club restarts at 14:00 for a full afternoon of fun and games until they meet up with their parents again at 17:00.
Sea Tigers get a lot of water sports experiences and taster sessions, so they can get a feel for the activities mum and dad like to do. We don’t offer dedicated tuition. If you would like coaching then it’s best to sign them up into our excellent RYA Youth Squad, for a supplement.
Some of the activities we do
Our fun, energetic and experienced kids club staff have a lot in store for our Sea Tigers! They’ll be forming new friendships and learning new sports in no time.
Raft building • kayaking • swimming pool games • sailing joyrides • windsurf taster sessions • Paddleboarding sessions • Kayak rides • face painting • football • flip-flop golf • pet rocks • wave hopping • egg drops • themed days • bike rides • scavenger hunts • art attacks • Film and popcorn or film and pizza night • Bike Skills session in hotel grounds
All sessions are run with age-appropriate activities, but age groups (Urchins and Tigers) may be combined if numbers are small. We take regular rest and snack breaks with chill-out time, as we know that whilst some kids want to go, go, go, others may want to chill and relax.
Evening Care
When you see what we have in store, then you’ll understand why your children will want an evening or two without their parents! And of course, you’ll get a well-earned night off too!
For two evenings a week, we offer:
- Pizza, Popcorn & Movie Night (childcare is free 19:00 – 22:00)
- BBQ Night (childcare is free during the meal)
Our Childcare Staff
Our childcare staff are picked for their fun and energetic characters, not just for their experience in running age-appropriate activities for 4-12 year olds! They are all British staff and highly experienced in dealing with children of all ages and ensuring they mix and get along well with each other. They are of course CRB checked, have a keen interest in water sports and great fun to be around. Care of your children will be supervised at all times, within set ratios, and in accordance with governing body guidelines.
Packing for Club:
When signing your child into club we ask that they bring with them the following items:
• Water • Sun cream • Clothes suitable for getting wet • Change of clothes • Towel • Sun hat • Comforter eg teddy or toy for younger children
Our S.E.N.T.A approach
Our experienced childcare staff pride themselves on creating new, fun and somewhat crazy activity ideas to ensure every child has the holiday of a lifetime. Staff plan a variety of activities with our SENTA approach at the core of the programme:
S: Suncare
E: Enjoyment for everyone
N: New skills
T: Team building
A: Activities children don’t usually do at home
