Our beach clubs, with their swimming pools and beaches offer the perfect setting to shake off your cares and enjoy some serious downtime, on and off the sunlounger. So put your feet up and enjoy these suggestions for taking it easy...

Take it easy

While everyone else hits the water, it’s time for you to hit the sunlounger - hard. Whether you prefer to be poolside or feel sand between your toes, our beach clubs have plenty of sunloungers (and plenty of sun). Or why not find a shady tree in the gardens and have 40 winks in the warmth of the afternoon? You’re on holiday after all…

Take in the sights. And the sites.

If you’ve ever been to Greece before you’ll know how rich it is in history and culture. If you are looking for a culturally rich destination then Porto Heli (where our Nautica Beach club is) is blessed with an abundance of amphitheatres and ancient ruins. We can organise boat trips to nearby islands and tours with English-speaking guides to show you the beautiful local monasteries, wine museums (it’s a tough job but someone has to do it) and pretty harbourside villages.

Hit the open road

We can organise a hire car for you (or a moped) if you fancy some freedom on the open road. A hire car can open up some of the most amazing and beautiful locations. From the summit perched Meteora monastery and the beautiful West coast beaches of Lefkas, easily reached from our Surf Hotel Beach Club to the ancient ruins of Mycenae or Nafplion, (near Nautica Bay Beach Club), this is a land crying out to be explored on four wheels.

Dive into the big blue

The crystal-clear turquoise waters of Greece are the perfect place for a leisurely snorkel. Pull on a mask and discover a beautiful marine world underneath the warm waters. Feeling adventurous? Snorkel around the bay to a local taverna for lunch.

In our Leda hotel Beach Club, you can make use of the PADI centre onsite for as much diving as you want. From a quick dip to a full-blown PADI dive course during your holiday. You can pay the supplier locally, do call our sales team to arrange.

Get the pulse racing

If keeping active is your way to relax then our bikes are perfect for a casual cycle among colourful Greek villages, or we have mountain bikes if you’re on the hunt for some adrenaline.

Our paddleboards are great fun and of course we have all the windsurfing and sailing kit you could want.

Stretch and Relax

Feeling stiff after all that lying about? Our stretch-and-relax classes are really useful to get you warmed up for the day’s activity and to warm down in the evening, too.

We also offer Aqua Zumba sessions in the pool and beach-style fitness workouts for all levels and yoga-inspired workouts, too.

Explore the coastline by sea

Take to the water in your own Kayak or by Paddleboard and explore the coast. Why not join in with our Paddle Safaris? These are popular and sociable paddle cruises that we run each week in all our centres. A flotilla of paddle craft take to the water and visit a local beach or point of interest with support RIBS to guide the flotilla along. It’s a real giggle and great fun for all ages.

In Porto Heli, you can join in with our SailAway programme of long-distance dinghy cruising in our larger dinghies. Our support RIBS will accompany the flotilla to an island stopover or a secret beach for a midday swim. You can learn about basic navigation and pilotage in this great adventure.

Go island hopping

From Porto Heli, there are regular ferry trips to the islands of Spetses or Hydra, with their superb beaches and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Both islands have an array of art galleries and boutique shops, and in the villages, cars are banned and donkeys rule the road!

Or if you’re staying at the Surf Hotel you can take a boat trip from Vassiliki town to nearby Cephalonia, Ithaka or Meganissi. We recommend Fiscardo in Cephalonia, an Italian inspired town with beautiful architecture and tavernas galore. Why not take a bike from our racks and make it a two-wheeled adventure, too?

Go for a stroll

Whether you just want to build up an appetite before dinner or do some serious hiking, all our resorts are able to offer impressive walks for the casual and more serious walkers. Stunning coastal routes wind through forests, olive groves and across headland, taking in small, colourful villages and sights along the way.
