Porto Heli Kit

Our Porto Heli Beach Club is our specialist dinghy sailing centre and so we have a great range of the latest dinghies, performance craft and catamarans with a full range of windsurf kit for beginners and intermediates, with some boards to suit the experts too!

Our kit has been hand-picked to suit the local conditions and so there’s plenty of it to go around, so you should never go for long without the board or boat of your choice. We also have plenty of kayaks, paddleboards, some high-end mountain bikes from Specialized and tennis racquets too – certainly enough to keep you well entertained if sailing isn’t your thing.

As our specialist dinghy sailing centre, we have our best stock of sailing dinghies and tuition in Porto Heli. We even have the latest foiling boats for the good intermediates to try. In fact, we’ve got more boats and tuition than you’ll ever need and guests love our weekly itinerary or fun regatta’s, sailing cruises and special clinics; like our popular dinghy cruising (with navigation) and sailing with spinnakers.

Our Windsurf Boards

As our beginner to intermediate windsurf centre, we have a stock of windsurf kit to suit the local conditions. We’ve got more boards and tuition than you’ll ever need - if you’re up to Intermediate Planing standard, and of course they’re free for you to use, whenever you like during beach opening hours (9.30 to 6pm). The beginners will love our easy to use, light weight kit which is a breeze to get going on; and intermediates (or experts) will find some great kit for their level in our racks.

Our Windsurf Rigs

We have various sizes of sail for all levels of windsurfer, from tiny child-size 2 metre rigs to 8.6 metre sails from Tushingham like the Start, the Easy and the famous Bolt.

We use RD masts (reduced diameter) or 'skinny masts’ which really offer a big leap in performance, making rigs feel lighter and more responsive. We also use lightweight booms, adjustable harness lines and uphauls. Our beach team are always on hand to help you rig up, get launched and retune your sail to suit the conditions.

Our Fleet of Bikes

We have a selection of the latest mountain bikes from leading brand Specialized which are free for you to use all week. There’s plenty of them too, so just pop along to the bike store and pick one up when you like.

These high-end, premium bikes have front suspension, disc brakes and a lightweight frame. All sizes are available for children age 6 plus.

We have a selection of the latest stand up paddleboards from leading brands Starboard and RED Paddle Co for you to use. They come in all manner of lengths, shapes and sizes from 10 foot all-purpose boards to long, sleek distance boards.

Kayaks

Our range of sit on top kayaks are also available for you to use all week. Pop down to the waterfront and grab a kayak to go and explore the bay or search out a hidden beach armed with only a towel and a good book.

You can join one of our popular paddle cruises which run all week and take a group of guests on an extended paddle trip with a support boat to hand over to a secluded beach for swimming and snorkelling or to the village for coffee and ice cream.
