Ocean Elements’ Aegean Flotilla will cruise the very best of the Saronic islands from our base at Nautica Bay Beach Club, Porto Heli, in the heart of the Greek Riviera. It’s a popular choice for two week Stay Sail holidays where you can relax and enjoy the hotel facilities in week one, before cruising the islands on your yacht for week two

We’ll stop at some of the best islands and ports in classical Greece to visit cultural hotspots, clear water bays and sandy beaches aplenty; and of course, we’ll be getting lots of great sailing in too. We offer two routes which offer a superb one week cruise or a two week, ‘complete Saronic’ cruise. The sailing is rated level 2-3, so you’ll need to be a confident RYA Day Skipper to take part.

Assisted flotilla

Assisted Flotilla is much like a Classic Flotilla, but with a smaller group of 4-6 yachts. You have a very experienced skipper on one of the larger flotilla boats (like our Oceanis 51) who will accompany the cruise and be on hand if needed. We still cruise in company, have evening meals together, take care of the planning and (if you need) help you moor up at the end of each day.

It’s a less ‘full-on’ style of flotilla in terms of entertainment; and it suits more experienced skippers who like more freedom to change their itinerary. If you like a smaller group of sociable sailors, lovely cultured stopovers and a lead skipper to help you have a great week, then you’ll like our Saronic islands Assisted Flotilla.

Nafplion Route

Our Nafplion cruise will give you a taste of classical Greece as we visit cultural highpoints, like the caves at Franchthi, (the oldest human dwelling in the world); the ancient city of Nafplion with its intense Medieval atmosphere; and Kaparissi, dubbed one of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages of Greece’. You’ll have plenty of time to explore archaeological sites as well as the finest clear water bays and sandy beaches in the area; whilst getting lots of great sailing in too.

NAFPLION ROUTE

Hydra Route

Our Hydra cruise can be taken before or after our Nafplion route for a complete two-week tour of some of the best islands and cultural high points in the Argolic gulf.

For our Hydra route, we’ll visit places like the typically Greek Ermioni and the famous islands of Spetses and Hydra, both of which are rich in local art and cars are banned from Hydra - so donkeys rule the road.

Our Yacht fleet

Our Aegean holidays are available for a small and exclusive fleet of Bareboat cruising yachts, between 36 and 51 feet. They are also available for our luxury skippered cruising yacht, the Ocean 51.1
