We have one of the most exciting and prestigious yacht fleets in the industry and most of our yachts are brand new, that is, they were newly launched in 2020 - so they’re completely fresh, too.

Yacht Tuition Courses for Everyone...

...Even the Family!

We’ve been running RYA training centres for over 10 years for our Beach Clubs and now we’re offering a full range of yacht sailing courses from Vassiliki on our Bavaria 37 with an Ocean Elements RYA Yachtmaster Instructor.

We have courses for kids, courses for crew members, courses for beginner Day Skippers, Coastal Skippers and more experienced sailors looking to brush up their boat handling. We even have courses for families so mum, dad and the kids can learn together.

A Key Element Is Where We Do It.

Vassiliki is perfect for training aspiring skippers thanks to the local winds that make it famed as a world-class water sports venue.

Here, budding skippers can practice new techniques in reassuringly light winds in the mornings, while building skills and understanding as the breeze increases to a force 4 to 5, with gusts in the afternoons. Therefore, after getting to grips with core techniques in a benign environment earlier in the day, our graduates also get to hone their skills while handling stronger winds. This is the biggest single challenge for new skippers and is invariably what marks out a truly competent sailor.

Courses for Beginner Skippers

As a novice with very little experience, we’ll get you trained in a week and turn even the most inexperienced sailor into a proficient skipper by the end of a two week Stay Sail holiday.

Last summer, we qualified many first time sailors to become skippers in their first week of a Stay Sail (while their families relaxed back at the Club) so that they could go onto skipper their own yacht in week two.

We find the perfect sailing holiday is a twin centre break so that there’s something for everyone: Dad, Mum, and the kids! Start with a week at our award-winning Beach Club followed by a week aboard your yacht.

A Stay Sail holiday has everyone’s interests covered: your kids can get hooked on sailing in our Active Clubs and our crack team of RYA instructors will have you developing your dinghy or windsurfing skills in no time. If you fancy some time on dry land, why not try a Beach Fitness class... a guided bike ride...a wine tour...or just hit the sunlounger...hard!

Small & Exclusive Flotillas

We like to keep things small and personal, so we can focus on YOU. All our flotillas have evening entertainments, kids fun and games and organised activities like paddleboard safari’s, bike rides (using hire bikes) and family walks to break up the sailing.

Our one and two-week flotillas start from Lefkas in the Ionian and cruise a South Ionian route and a North Ionian route. Why not try a two-week cruise and take in both our Northern and Southern routes?

Your First Steps as a Skipper

It’s an exciting time to get qualified as a new Day Skipper, but your first steps of yacht chartering can be daunting. Our lead crew have helped hundreds of new skippers over the last few years to take their first tentative steps into yachting, whether they’ve qualified with us, or not.

If you do wish to qualify with us then we always recommend taking a two week Stay Sail holiday to do it. We prefer not to ‘push you out on your own’ so soon after your training; and so we think that it’s ideal if you can combine your course with a second week on our flotilla. That way, our expert lead crew will be on hand to continue to assist you during your first steps of skippering.
