Bareboat sailing is ideal for those with experience who prefer to decide on their own pace and itinerary. We have an exciting fleet of 36 to 52 ft yachts based in the Ionian and Aegean which serve four of the finest cruising areas in Greece, each offering a different experience from relaxing island sailing to cultural tours of classical Greece. All our yachts are handed over with yacht systems training and our yacht base support.
You’ll love our small and friendly flotillas, led by a professional Ocean Elements crew. They suit everyone from beginner skippers to more experienced sailors who like to cruise in company. Our lead crew will be on hand to help you find your sea legs, and they’re always just a VHF call away.
Our flotillas have evening entertainments, group meals ashore, kids fun and games and organised activities like paddleboard safari’s, bike rides (using hire bikes) and family walks to break up the sailing.

A skippered holiday is a chance to set the pace, decide your itinerary and be as relaxed as you choose. You can enjoy as much hands-on sailing as you like, or let your skipper take the helm and sail the yacht for you. An idyllic holiday which allows you to be as carefree as you want.
You’ll enjoy sailing to a new island every day, where you spend your afternoons paddle boarding or kayaking across clearwater bays, snorkelling around emerald colour waters and enjoying the colourful Greek tavernas by night.
Choose to bareboat and ‘tread your own path’, or follow our flotilla - with your skipper - and cruise in company with us.
If you can’t decide between Bareboat and Flotilla and you want the freedom to switch between the two, then try our Flexi Flotilla. It allows more experienced skippers to dip in and dip out of our Ocean Elements Flotilla, so it’s perfect for those that don’t want a whole week (or two) of flotilla and prefer some time to themselves, but still relish the idea of a sociable group.
If you would like to get qualified together with your friends and family, then you can charter our Bavaria 37 tuition yacht with your own RYA Yachtmaster inst
ructor for a week (or two) of learning as you cruise the Ionian islands.
We can teach Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Start Yachting courses all together - and on the same yacht - so different abilities can learn together. Having a mix of courses works really well. If you have two weeks to spare then why not try our popular Day Skipper Fast Track course which combines Competent Crew (week1) with Day Skipper in week 2.
Our yacht has 3 double cabins and, by special arrangement, your instructor can sleep aboard our lead yacht to give groups a little more privacy when at anchor.
