Hanse 388 Athena
We have made some prestigious additions to our fleet for 2020 and our brand new fresh-out-of-the-box Hanse 388 is one of these yachts. She offers an ultra-modern hull shape and easy sail handling; and we’ve added some upgrades during her build - like her Fast Cruising’ Dacron sails from Elvstrøm, a teak deck and a beautiful cedar wood interior, which, with her numerous windows makes her lighter, brighter and airier downstairs. She sports no less than 19 windows in the deck that light up her upgraded interior and whilst, (as Yachting Monthly put it), she might sound like a Greenhouse, she sails like a yacht and a very good one, too.
She’s an easily managed, very seaworthy yacht with little that will ruffle her progress. Once the sails are set, just guide her finger-light-helm and enjoy the ride. Should you relinquish the helm - which you may find hard to do, such are her delightful sailing qualities - then enjoy the ride in her wide and open cockpit, with easily managed sail controls. We’ve added lots of special extras during her build to make her into the perfect Med-cruiser for alfresco living, sunbathing and sailing. You name it.

The 388 is a great sea boat and she makes sailing easy: From her finger light helm - which makes her a delight to sail - to her conservative sail plan, self tacking jib and easily managed controls. If you’re a couple or a family, you’ll love this yacht.
She has a large, open cockpit and full width drop-down swim platform for Med-style living and a nice and bright, upgraded cedar wood interior. Her deck, cockpit and internal space is more fitting of a 40 footer, but so cleverly designed into an easily managed, compact 38 foot hull.
