Sun Odyssey 389 Cobalt
Cobalt is our brand new Sun Odyssey 389, (launched 2020), so she’s completely fresh-out-of-the-box and ready to go for this summer! She offers an ultra-modern hull shape and easy sail handling; and we’ve added some performance upgrades during her build to make her into ‘The Perfect Med’ Cruiser’ with a full-width-drop-down swim platform to help you to enjoy those idyllic Ionian anchorages for lunchtime swims and paddleboarding.
We’ve even added a bow thruster to help with close quarters maneuvering and a pair of carbon-composite steering wheels to improve her sailing feel, (and they look great, too!). There is also a bowsprit for an optional furling gennaker so you can keep on sailing when the wind drops, which we particularly like!
Cobalt is a 38 foot yacht with a deck layout that’s worthy of a 40 footer and a favourite of our MD James who loves cruising with his young family around the south Ionian. Indigo is the sister ship to Cobalt, an almost identical model in our fleet.

Her deck and performance upgrades have turned this sparkling performer into an even better sailing boat for the Med’. A larger full width drop down swim platform enhances her appeal at anchor and (more importantly) she’s a brand new boat - launched 2020 - and so she’s completely fresh-out-of-the-box for anyone chartering her this year. The 389 has been the ‘boat of choice’ for our MD when he holidays in the Ionian; and he successfully campaigns the more race-oriented version of this boat in some tough offshore races in the UK. So her genetics must be good!
