Sun Odyssey 389 Indigo
Indigo is our brand new Sun Odyssey 389, (launched 2020), so she’s completely fresh-out-of-the-box and ready to go for this summer! She offers an ultra-modern hull shape and easy sail handling; and we’ve added some upgrades during her build - like a beautiful cedar wood interior, which, with her numerous windows makes her lighter, brighter and airier downstairs. We’ve added a pair of carbon-composite steering wheels to improve her feel, (and they look great, too!), and even a bowsprit for an optional furling gennaker so you can keep on sailing when the wind drops. Indigo is the sister ship to Cobalt, an almost identical model in our fleet.
She offers sparkling performance and easy handling for a couple or a family. Her hard chines and wide beam provide her with a large interior and added stability - so she’s a great sea boat, too. Indigo is a 38 foot yacht with a deck layout that’s worthy of a 40 footer and a full size drop-down swim platform for enjoying those idyllic anchorages, lunchtime swims and paddleboarding.

We love this yacht for
Her upgraded cedar wood interior and ‘Preference’ package make her nice and bright inside; and her performance upgrades make an already sparkling performer - even better to sail. She’s a new boat (launched 2020) and so she’s completely fresh-out-of-the-box for anyone chartering her this year. The 389 has been the ‘boat of choice’ for our MD when he holidays in the Ionian; and he successfully campaigns the more race-oriented version of this boat in some tough offshore races in the UK. So her genetics must be good!
